Luddenden Open Gardens – Saturday 28th June 2025

Saturday 28th June 10 am to 4 pm.

Come and discover a variety of twelve village gardens including front yards, an organic wildlife garden, newly established gardens and the garden of an Elizabethan Yeoman House. All demonstrate differing styles to suit the challenging conditions in our historic Pennine Conservation Area village of stone houses built along the sides of the Luddenden Valley. Some of the gardens have lovely views across the valley. Many of the gardens have stepped access.

Refreshments available at St Mary’s Church (open throughout) and the Lord Nelson Inn (open from 11 am). Also available at some of the gardens. Sale of locally grown plants at the Village Car Park.

Tickets £5 on the day at the Village Car Park on Luddenden Lane. Accompanied under 18’s free. Card payment available for tickets and plants. Proceeds to the “Luddenden in Bloom” group who maintain public areas in the village.
